This is going to be a short entry. Day 2 = Jetlag. Let's do some more bullet-points shall we?
- -first off, being children of the empire, and as it states above, clueless Americans (which is why we want to learn as much as we can through traveling the world) the first picture below is Shai realizing that we got swindled in our cab ride from the airport to our hostel. Being a little bummed about the extra $$ that we shouldn't have paid, we did an exercise or re-framing. We unknowingly paid $400 dollars for a cab ride because we are:
- -Clueless Americans
- -didn't get our heads together to do the correct conversion from dollars to rubles
- -Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
- -Our re-frame? Kinda what we get for being clueless and children of the empire. Not like we're rolling in it, but we are privileged enough to be traveling and seeing the world
- -Our hope is that the extra $340 that we paid went to help someone pay their rent, utilities and have a sweet meal
- -An extra reminder to get it together before walking out of the terminal
Yesterdays big adventure was to actually enter the Red Square and see the Kremlin in all her fancy glory.
Check.
We kept on seeing people eating rooster pops. Then we found the source. Being the grown adults that we are the other possible names we came up with:

- -cock on a stick
- -lollicocks

Shortly after this was taken, jet-lag took over both of our bodies, while we tracked down a grocery store for food and dragged ourselves back to the hostel for a 2 hour nap. Tried to do some yoga for some energy and painstakingly stayed awake until 10pm. I didn't even know it was possible to wake up at 5am and feel ready to get out of bed.
